RASA8 on the CEM40 mount

The RASA8 pictured on the CEM40 mount with the sun going down in the west. After the photo was taken, the dew shield was attached and a white T-shirt draped over the front to take a sequence of flats with the telescope pointed to the sky. The left of the photograph shows smoke visible from the huge bush fires in northern New South Wales. Also visible on the legs of the tripod are a number of custom made 3D printed mounts, one to hold the ASIAIR, and another to hold the mount HEX keys so they don’t get lost.
