One of the interesting outcomes of doing wide field astrophotography is the discovery of areas of interest not necessarily apparent in astronomy programs like Cartes Du Ciel or Sky Safari Pro. Such areas are the regions around M24 and IC1283. These areas would make ideal targets for the short focal length telescopes such as the RASA8 or William Optics GT71 or even the William Optics GTF102.
