ASI 294 Widefield Astrophotography Setup
An adapter was designed in Fusion360 and 3D printed allowing the ASI 294 MC Pro to be attached to a Star Adventurer EQ Mount with the aim of doing wide field astrophotography. With accurate polar alignment achieved using a PoleMaster combined with the short focal length of the Voigtlander 25mm guiding was not a necessity but we decided to utilise PHD2 to get more practice with the application.
Part of the design specifications of the 3D printed adapter was to allow means to attach a red dot finder.
